Character: Alessandro XVIII (Alec)

About: Alec is the 399th Pope, elected when he was eleven years old over his uncle, thanks to his older half-siblings. He's very timid in nature and suffers from ligyrophobia. (Fear of loud noises) Alec is also very devout, he believes in the good in those around him and in God. He's a kind and selfless young soul who will put himself in harms way if it protects those around him. In many ways, he's more fit for his position than he thinks he is. However, his timid nature and lack of self-confidence makes it nearly impossible for him to see that.
Alec has been the target of several assassination attempts, as the head of the church but has not let his faith be shaken. He considers himself friends with Esther Blanchett and has a healthy respect for the members of the AX and his siblings. He believes in the possibility of peace in the future but speaking up isn't an option for him as it could come back on his as treason or heresy.

Alec is the 399th Pope of the Catholic Church so he's devoted to God, incredibly shy and jumpy. He won't try to push his beliefs on anyone but he's still going to be dedicated to his faith. Even if he is more of a puppet than a proper Pope (due to his age).
